P-888 – Water-Based, Two-Component, Epoxy-Based Conductive Primer is a conductive, water-based, solvent-free, low-viscosity, black-pigmented, two-component epoxy-based primer material.
An epoxy resin-based, 100% solids content, black, two-component, solvent-free Water-Based Epoxy primer. It fills the pores of concrete surfaces and enables excellent adhesion between the material and the substrate. Prior to the application of polyurethane and epoxy-based coating materials, it seals the pores on all types of concrete, wood, and metal surfaces, prevents moisture ingress from below, and improves the bonding of subsequent topcoat materials to the substrate. It is particularly effective at eliminating dusting and friability on poor-quality concrete surfaces, while remaining fully compatible with polyurethane and epoxy-based coating systems — making it a versatile industrial water-based epoxy primer coating material.
Application Areas:
Generally used as a water-based epoxy primer applied to the substrate prior to epoxy paint and floor coating systems.
P-888 Water-Based Epoxy primer should be used in polyurea insulation and polyurea floor coating applications, polyurethane and epoxy floor coating systems, and polyurethane insulation applications.
It is used as a high-quality substrate preparation and corrosion-protective primer on all surface types requiring waterproofing and chemical resistance, including concrete, wood, fiber cement, stone, and all types of metal surfaces — including factory and workshop floor coatings, concrete surfaces, and floors requiring resistance to acids, alkalis, and other corrosive chemicals prior to the application of topcoat materials.
