Polymex P-4021 Sandwich System Polyurethane Coatings

Primer is applied to the substrate that has been cleaned of dirt, dust, oil, and moisture; rubber granules in the 1–3.5 mm range, mixed with polyurethane binder in a mixer, are spread using a finisher machine to a minimum average thickness of 10 mm.

A thixotropic two-component putty layer is applied over the elastic coating. At this stage, the system has become fully waterproof. Application of the polyurethane self-leveling coating follows, and terracotta-colored EPDM granules of 1–3.5 mm diameter are then applied over it using the broadcast method. Excess granules are subsequently swept away and lines are marked.
