Description: Polymex-5080 is a solvent-free, two-component epoxy-based joint filler, repair, anchoring, and installation grout consisting of three components: an epoxy resin-based joint mortar and a resin hardener in paste consistency. This specialty epoxy joint filler, formulated from a combination of special aggregates and high-strength epoxy resins free of solvents, becomes resistant to water, frost, and weathering conditions after curing. It is an A+B+C three-component liquid joint filler developed for tiles used on floors of industrial facilities, featuring epoxy-based formulation, RG2-class high bond strength, solvent-free composition, compatibility with machine application systems, and water-washable properties.
Areas of Application: Food industry (meat, fish, dairy, dairy products, flour-based products, oil, catering, beverages, etc.), healthcare sector (hospitals, laboratories, pharmaceutical production and storage), chemical and petrochemical industries, automotive, cosmetics, logistics and transportation, tourism sector, shopping malls and supermarkets, etc. Used for rebar doweling in concrete and base walls, repair and waterproofing of wide cracks, installation and bonding of all types of metal and steel components to concrete and steel structural elements, crack injection, surface sealing, and fixing of injection packers. Used for securing guardrails and seismic dampers on bridges and viaducts, and for fixing anchor elements. Provides excellent adhesion with very high bond strength for ceramic and tile installation.
Used as a high-strength material in anchoring and jointing works, bedding concrete, filler mortars, and repair of horizontal concrete surfaces — including crane rail base installation, bridge bearing installations, repair of aircraft and helicopter runways, fixing of steel columns and poles, foundations for all types of industrial machinery, under machine beds, engineering structures such as metro systems, highways, and dams, repair and strengthening projects at beam-to-reinforced concrete shear wall junctions, and prefabricated element installation.
