Polymex P-2030 Firetek Intumescent Paint FP-12 is a decorative, thin-film fire-retardant coating designed for application over steel structural members on interior building facades. During a fire event, it expands to form an insulating layer that delays heat transfer to the steel substrate. A wide range of color options is available through the application of a topcoat. The formulation supports application thicknesses of up to 9.3 mm.
