Polymex P-3017 Prosil Polyurethane Flexible Removable Electrical Casting Resin

Polymex-3017 is a two-component, solvent-free polyurethane and polyether polyol-based electrical insulation and casting resin. It is the Prosil Polyurethane Flexible Removable Electrical Casting Resin.

Application Areas:

Prosil Polyurethane Electrical Casting Resin is suitable for use in renewable cable joint sleeves, power-insulated connections, underground and above-ground telephone and energy cable connections, electronic circuit coating, surface coating, park and garden lighting, water pools, all types of humid environments, and underwater applications. In the electrical cable industry, it is used for casting cable terminations and joint sleeves, end connections, and insulation of underground cable splice points. It is a casting resin used in submersible pumps, aquarium filters, and for protecting electrical components in motors from water ingress. It prevents vibration in pumps. It is used in sections of the electrical cable industry where insulation is required. Due to its flexible formulation, the cured casting can be cut and removed from the applied area.
