Polymex P-3020 is a two-component, modified self-curing liquid filled with inorganic fillers within a polyol polyurethane system. It exhibits excellent electrical and mechanical properties, low shrinkage, and a low exothermic peak. The system is RoHS and REACH compliant and contains no halogens or solvents. It is a thixotropic, two-component, solvent-free, polyurethane-based thixotropic electrical insulation and casting resin.
Application Areas:
In the electrical cable industry: for casting cable terminations and joint sleeves, and for insulating end connections. Used as a casting resin in submersible pumps and aquarium filters. Also used to protect electrical components in motors from water ingress. Prevents vibration in pumps.
