The surface to be coated with the spray system must be free of dirt, rust, moisture, and grease. A primer is applied to the existing substrate. Following this application, black SBR or black EPDM granules of 1–3.5 mm, mixed with polyurethane binder in a specialized mixer, are spread at an average thickness of 10 mm using a finisher machine. A primer is then applied over this elastic layer, and colored EPDM granules of 0.5–1.5 mm are mixed with a two-component polyurethane self-leveling compound and applied to the surface using a specialized spray machine.
