Polyurea-Epoxy-Polyurethane – Must be applied to all surfaces prior to floor coating and waterproofing applications. It is used to waterproof the walls of basement levels experiencing moisture problems resulting from negative pressure. Strictly solvent-free. A high-quality, two-component product. Features low viscosity, which allows it to penetrate deep into surface voids, achieving a strong mechanical bond. Exhibits excellent adhesion properties. Offers very high chemical resistance. Capable of bonding even to wet substrates. Polymex-6009 can be used as a primer, leveling screed, and epoxy mortar coating for floor renovation and new floor installations. Its low viscosity and outstanding surface wetting ability allow it to be readily absorbed into the substrate, forming a highly durable coating material. Moisture Barrier Primer Application
- Easy to apply (Roller, Brush, or Trowel).
- Penetrates deeply into the substrate.
- Converts mortar, plaster, or concrete into a uniform, seamless waterproofing layer, providing excellent moisture barrier insulation.
- Resistant to bacteria and fungi.
- Balances the surface and protects wall plaster and wall paint from moisture formation.
- Provides chemical resistance against oil, grease, moisture, chemical, and other liquid staining agents.
- Can also be used as a proven, high-quality primer.
- Solvent-free; suitable for use in enclosed spaces.
- Hydrolysis resistance
- Excellent resistance to standing water, frost, moisture, and weathering

Areas of Application:
Polymex-6009 Moisture Barrier Primer is a high-resistance, enhanced-moisture primer material. It must be applied to all substrates prior to waterproofing and floor coating, as it acts as a moisture break within the substrate. Can be applied to mortar, cement plaster, drywall, concrete, or timber walls in the locations specified below.
Basement walls. Foundation waterproofing. Interior walls at ground floor level, etc.
Used as a moisture and water vapor barrier primer on concrete floors prior to polyurea, polyurethane, and epoxy coating applications. Applied as a preventive measure against osmotic blistering caused by pressure acting from the negative side.
