Polymex P-998 2K Concrete Primer

Polymex P-998 is a two-component, 100% solids, transparent primer for concrete and similar surfaces. It fills the pores of the concrete surface and enables excellent bonding of polyurethane or epoxy self-leveling materials to the substrate. It is used when concrete moisture content, as measured by a CM moisture meter (carbide method), does not exceed 5%.

Application Areas:

Concrete Primer — Used as a primer beneath Polymex polyurethane coatings, Polymex epoxy coatings, and Polymex topcoats on concrete and similar surfaces. It is applied as a bonding primer and corrosion-protective base coat prior to waterproofing and coating on all surface types — including concrete, wood, fiber cement, stone, and all metal substrates — for protection against water and chemicals, floor coatings in factories and workshops, concrete surfaces requiring resistance to acids, alkalis, and other corrosive chemicals, as well as prior to the application of subsequent coatings and paints.
